German courses in the evening

The Volkshochschule (VHS) Lahr offers various German courses in addition to the integration courses.

Funding from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) is not possible for the following courses. Holders of a LahrPass receive a 50 percent discount. If you receive SGB II or SGB XII, a maximum reduction of 50.00 euros is possible. Further information is available from the VHS office.

The following courses do not conclude with an A2-B1 exam (German test for immigrants) and take place 1-2 times a week in the evening.

The courses in detail:

German A1.1
This course is aimed at participants with no knowledge of German (A1.1 - 1st semester) or with very little knowledge of German. You will learn to read, write and, above all, speak German. Textbook: Schritte plus Neu 1.

German A1.2
This course is aimed at participants with little to basic previous knowledge of German. You will learn to read, write and, above all, speak German. Textbook: Schritte plus Neu 2.
